Radiance and Redemption

I forgot the sacredness of life

I walked around letting the mystery fade

I was a missing person

Believing blindly the shallow façade of things

I tripped and tumbled

Scattering my attention with the wind

I was cold

A dream woke me up

Tears streamed down watering my heart

A faint voice was calling to me

Please come back home

I stepped outside

I saw the armor I took shelter in

It was cramped and petty

I had this mask in front of me

That kept me from my true experience

I sighed

I let it go and sunk in

My essence began retelling my story

My breath began singing to me

Drawing me deeper into my heart

I looked up

The sun was my radiance

The moon my elixir

Earth my redeemer

Spirit my Connection

I knelt down

I humbly gave thanks
