Money
Is An Illusion
When working with the law of attraction, a very large majority
of people ask for one thing, money. There are a few things we need to understand
about money before we can ever hope to attract it, especially the fact that
money is not only an illusion and not real, it's not at all what we want to
attract.
Let's start with money being an illusion. We need to understand that nothing has
any real value to it other than what we give it. That's right, that twenty
dollar bill is actually not worth any more than that one dollar bill.
How can I say this is true? That twenty is printed on the same type of paper as
the one dollar bill to start. The only reason that twenty has any more value
than the one is because of our belief in the twenty being worth more.
The American economy is completely backed by the power of belief. It is only
because we all agree and believe that a twenty dollar bill is worth twenty, or a
hundred is worth a hundred, that those bills have that value. If we were all to
stop agreeing and believing in that value, it wouldn't be worth the paper it is
printed on.
Next we need to realize that nothing has any real value to it other than the
value we give it no matter what it is. A bottle of water can be more valuable to
one person than another simply because the first person is more in need of it at
the time. A homeless person will value a sandwich much more than the rest of us
would.
It is our own personal value that we place on things that makes something
valuable or not. This is the illusion of money and we must understand this in
order to attract what we really want. Why you ask? Because we must understand
how valuable we believe something to be, and our emotional desire and connection
to that thing in order to overcome the neediness and wanting of it and get to
the core value it has in our lives.
A soda pop is not valuable to us other than the thirst it fixes and the craving
of the taste that have for it. A house is valuable to us because it protects us
from the elements, represents a specific status that we wish to portray to
others, and it represents a part of our personality. That same value is not the
same from one person with a million dollars to the next with a million.
Value is an illusion. It's not necessarily a bad illusion, but it must be
recognized and we must understand what value specific things have to us as
individuals. Once we understand the illusion of value and money, we can skip
right past the need to have money and get to the core desire and value.
Money is simply a tool we have all agreed to use in order to get those things we
want. Often times we give money much more value than it really has or we need to
give it. If we want a car, we will often focus on attracting money to us in
order to get the car.
Instead of focusing on money in order to get what we want, we should put our
attention into that thing we want and attracting that. If we focus specifically
on money and using money in order to get what we want, we limit the universe and
it's ability to give us that things which we desire to have in our lives.
If you want a car, you should focus on that car instead of money. You may get
the car for free from someone who is giving it away, or have the chance to get
the car in exchange for cutting down a few trees for a neighbor. The
possibilities are limitless on how that can be attracted to us unless we focus
on a specific way and expect that way to be the way in which we get what we
want.
The value of anything is only that which we give it, and value is an illusion.
Focus on those things you want and understand exactly what the value of those
things are to you, and attracting what you want to you will become much easier.
