The Whispering Wind

 



The wind always calls out my name
And as I listen it’s always the same
He calls my name over, and over again
The Whispering Wind is always my friend

As I stand on the porch
He races through my hair
And He whistles for me
As I sit on the stair

I have races with the wind
All through the grass
But I never win
The wind is too fast

I ask the wind questions
But it’s always the same
All the wind does
Is call out my name
